do they have some survey for roommates or do they randomly pick for you?

I was definitely matched very carefully. I said I wouldn't mind sharing, that I wouldn't mind if they did a different subject, that I don't do much sports but do like arts, and that I am generally a quiet person. Unfortunately the match was slightly too good and my room-mate was so sweet and quiet I barely had a conversation with her all term lol. Try to fill out your form a bit more strategically =P

Also, I like that we have to switch rooms every term. Well, I don't like the actual switching lol, 'cause my room this term is definitely worse... again. But I like the concept of equality a lot. My friend's going to Wolverhampton next year and there you actually pay more for better rooms (with huge differences, from small and broken to large and en-suite)... so if you simply can't, or don't want to, afford that, that's a bit harsh.
