    Got a leaking pipe under the sink and have no idea what to do. Normally i would turn the water off, but the water i believe is coming from the point where you turn the water off

    Well turn it off anyway, put a bucket under the drip (if you can) and call a plumber.

    with applicanes its
    lefty loosey righty tighty right?!
    is that the same with the stop valve or is it turn to the left to tun it off turn to the right to turn it on?

    I'm not aware it is different from any other tap: clockwise to close.
