Easy degrees with high entry requirements. watch

    • Thread Starter

Friend of mine who was a med student said medicine was quite easy intelligence wise but need to remember tons of facts.

I was wondering if degrees have high entry requirements because they are very popular like medicine rather than the subjects themselves being difficult and actually need high entry requirements.

The converse is hard degrees that have lowish entry requirements because they are not very popular.

Well generally, yes. That's not to say that something that's popular is automatically easy. Similar thing applies to lower-ranked unis - the unis themselves are less popular -> lower entry requirements -> more students - it doesn't necessarily mean that the courses there are crap in comparison.

Of course some subjects require a higher degree of intelligence than others but you'll still find varying entry requirements for most of them either way.
