Is anyone else doing this exam.
If so, how are you revising for it, and have you got any predictions, in terms of questions that are likely to come up ?

I'm doing this too, it's the one i'm dreading for haha I just hope the questions are in my favour.
The past questions have been on Lloyd George 1918-22 and the Conservatives 1918-64 and reasons for their defeat 1918-45. There's only been one Labour question, so I'd expect one of them and possibly something on housing/welfare state, maybe another Lloyd George!

me to, this is definatly the exam I am dreading the most. No matter how much effort i put in i just cant seem to move beyond a level 4 (infact our teacher hasent given any one in the class a level 5 before).
Do you have any good essays taht i could have a look at (any of your own examples or ones your teacher has given you)... in return I could send you some essay plans(once iv doen some lol) ext.
What do you think the synoptic question will be. I would love another conervative dominanace one to come up .

they might just be marking it harshly since it's not under my exam conditions, my economics teacher does that all the time but let's us know about it

I'm doing this exam, our teacher has been off since October and they brought in a substitute who has never taught A-levels before so really not feeling confident about it at all!
My real teacher came back on Monday and had made a list of possible exam questions which may come up although the previous papers have all pretty much been the same thing so hopefully it will all be ok!

You reckon you could tell us the questions your teacher thinks will come up?
Mine said something on nationalisation, welfare state or possibly housing. And quite possibly the EEC as well as another Lloyd george question

I'm going for a 1950s thirteen wasted years or a 1930s/National Government themed question. I would have totally aced last years paper (I did a mock of #3 Attlee v. MacDonald and got 42/45). I'd quite like an economics question - maybe on the EEC or something...

Yes! I'm so freakin pleased there's a thread for this exam! I've finished all my revison for history, so I'm just going over stuff at the minute, but I need an A* so I'm feelin' a bit of pressure!
As you all know the questions are 45 markers so they're going to be huge, but there hasn't been anything on Churchill or social impacts of WW2 or consensus politics post 51 so I guess something could come up there. I am literally praying for a question between 51 & 64, prayin'!
