If so, how are you revising for it, and have you got any predictions, in terms of questions that are likely to come up ?
If theres any A * historians out there , any tips would be appriciates (or any essays i could look at): )

I'm doing this too, it's the one i'm dreading for haha I just hope the questions are in my favour.

The past questions have been on Lloyd George 1918-22 and the Conservatives 1918-64 and reasons for their defeat 1918-45. There's only been one Labour question, so I'd expect one of them and possibly something on housing/welfare state, maybe another Lloyd George!

I've got a few good essays I could take photos of and message to you if you want? I've got a 40/45 and a 42/45 if that helps. Let me know

I'm doing this exam, our teacher has been off since October and they brought in a substitute who has never taught A-levels before so really not feeling confident about it at all!

My real teacher came back on Monday and had made a list of possible exam questions which may come up  although the previous papers have all pretty much been the same thing so hopefully it will all be ok!

Good Luck!

You reckon you could tell us the questions your teacher thinks will come up?
Mine said something on nationalisation, welfare state or possibly housing. And quite possibly the EEC as well as another Lloyd george question

First one she done was Victory and Crisis: 1918 - 1931

How successful was the post-war coalition 1918 - 1922 in dealing with reconstruction after WW1?
How successful was the coalition government 1918 - 1922 in dealing with economic and political problems after WW1?
How important was Lloyd George's own mistakes in explaining his fall from office in 1922?
How important was the decline of Britain's staple industries in explaining the industrial unrest of the period 1918-1929?
How important was the work done by women on the home front during the First World War in changing the position of women in British Society by 1928?

The National Government and Inter-war changes 1931-1939

The formation of a national government in 1931 came about because the Labour government found it so difficult to deal with the financial crisis of 1931. Assess the validity of this view
To what extent was Ramsey MacDonald motivated by personal gain in 1931
To what extent do you agree that Ramsey Macdonald acted to save his country but not his party in 1931?
'Ramsey MacDonald's decision to head the National Government from 1931 was the excuse for, not the cause, of the weakness of the Labour party in the 1930s.' Assess the validity of this view
'An age of affluence' how far do you agree with this description of Britain in the 1930s
How important were the policies of the National Government in bringing about economic recovery in Britain by 1939?
How successful were the National Governments in bringing economic recovery in Britain in the years 1931 - 1939?

Will post the next two topics on a different reply just so its not a complete wall of text!

Posted the ones she thinks will be on the specific topics, this is the last one that she done and it's themed questions  hope they help!

Themed Questions;

To what extent was Lloyd George responsible for the decline of the Liberal Party 1918-1939?

To what extent was the socialist nature of the Labour party the reason why it was out of office for most of the period 1918 to 1964?

To what extent was the rise of the Labour Party in the period 1918 to 1945 a result of the decline of the Liberal party?

To what extent had the role of women changed in the period 1918 to 1964?

'Successive governments failed to solve the challenging economic problems they faced in the period 1918 to 1964' Assess the validity of this view.

That's the lot  please excuse any spelling mistakes / grammar mistakes I'm sat listening to a French radio and it's proving incredibly hard to type in English at the same time lol.

I'm going for a 1950s thirteen wasted years or a 1930s/National Government themed question. I would have totally aced last years paper (I did a mock of #3 Attlee v. MacDonald and got 42/45). I'd quite like an economics question - maybe on the EEC or something...

I still haven't even finished all my revision notes yet...I'm on 1963, so I still need to to the '64 election, thirteen wasted years & political consensus. I'm starting to freak out a little though, I've been told to aim for 120/120

will foreign policy between 1918 -1939 come up? wasn't sure if it was everything on just certain sections such as what liberals achieved in foreign policy when they were in power

i dotn think theres enough material on it for it to be a seperate question ...it would just be used as part on a syntopic answer i think

Yes! I'm so freakin pleased there's a thread for this exam! I've finished all my revison for history, so I'm just going over stuff at the minute, but I need an A* so I'm feelin' a bit of pressure!

As you all know the questions are 45 markers so they're going to be huge, but there hasn't been anything on Churchill or social impacts of WW2 or consensus politics post 51 so I guess something could come up there. I am literally praying for a question between 51 & 64, prayin'!
