"Of Mice And Men" structure

Hey guys,
Got an exam tomorrow and is the last bit of the essay. It's asking me to describe a structure of the story, and i chose "Linear Structure", they asked me to give at least 4 reasons and explanation to get band 4. Please help me, kind of confused, this last part is hard and nothing is coming out from my head.
