I don't understand why you think this requires a thread - correcting people directly in posts, sure, but a thread? I would understand if everyone thought something of you that was negative in some way, but this... is like people thinking I have brown eyes, blonde hair, someone assuming I'm fully English, whatever... it's not something you need to make a thread about. Unless you feel that someone thinking you were black would be a negative thing?

No. No problem with being black.
Its just that it was so random I didnt think anyone thought that so I wanted ro just let everyone know im not before I started getting sent emails to BAME societies
