Working at festivals

Hi,
Given that my hometown is host to the V festival every year and I need money this year, I was thinking I could work there. Has anyone ever worked at a festival or thought of doing so? I think the pay is not too bad and you get in for free (good because Muse are going!). Anyone give me any advice on whether to do it or not?

i was an oxfam steward at reading last year, you get in for free and get free meals but some how it lacked the atmosphere of true reading, i wouldn't do it again. plus you dont have much control over your shift times so could easily be working when the one band you want to see is on, a lot of people last year were well pissed off they missed metallica

give it a go, the decent toilets and showers almost make it worth it :smile:
