As/A-Level Mathematics/ Further Mathematics

Dear all,

I'm currently studing Use of Maths, Graphic design and BTEC National ICT as an As student. The thing is I want to study Mathematics in the Cambridge University but I've only got a B for GCSE Maths and my College doesn't accept student who has got a B for GCSE to do Further Mathematics or Mathematics.

Are there any other way to redo GCSE Mathematics? Or do universities accept 'Use of Mathematics' for an A-level?

Thanks!

Use of maths is usually not accepted as maths for a degree in maths.

I personally think its a bit harsh to not take someone with a B at gcse for the subject to the a level, but hey ho. If these restrictions still apply, your best bet (if you still have that cambridge ambition) is to do A level maths & gcse maths during your AS year privately.

But cambridge looks really unrealistic dude.
