Broadgate Park Studio Room

Hi guys, Ive been given my unconditional for Electrical and Electronic engineering Beng and I have a studio room with Broadgate park. I was just wondering how it was laid out. Are there multiple studio rooms in a flat or are they all completely separate. Also how was your stay at broadgate?

Hey,

I've been offered a studio for BGP as that is all that is left. Are you not a bit concerned about being isolated from others because you do not share any of the facilities with other people? I know I am a little worried about it!

Yeah, that has been a concern of mine. While it is nice to cook and shower whenever i want, being isolated won't that much of a problem for me as I will try to socialise and be in student areas as much as I am in my room.

I felt that way too, but going off some (broad and unspecific) information on the website it says there's a common room (hoping this applies to all blocks, not just shared kitchen), that's my primary hope for social contact. If not, the best way forward is to join a bunch of societies during the induction week.
