EPQ- Suggestions of topics that combine politics and public relations?

Researching topics to do for my EPQ, want a way of combining public relations to politics as my essay topic, any ideas?

Something like the Governments treatment of protesters and demonstrations around the world and at home would be good, there are a lot of angles you could take with it and a number of different questions you could answer.

You could take an international view on the matter and weigh up how different governmental systems treat different sets of protesters and whether there is a better way of doing it or you could look at the civil liberties demonstrators in the UK itself are exactly "free" in their protests?
