Interview for English

I applied for English Literature and apparently I have been shortlisted and I need to attend an interview.

What does short listed mean in the realm of university? Is that good or just the norm?

Does everyone doing English have to do an interview?

Anyone who has been interviewed for English: what should I expect?

Hi I think being asked for an interview on such a popular course is absolutely the norm! and I think most questions will be centred around experience and they will want you to elaborate what you wrote in your personal statement so it's important to know it inside out!
