Snooker cues

Hey,

Does anyone know anything about snooker cues and which ones are better to play with? I don't know much about them and want to buy one. It is mainly for playing pool, but I prefer snooker cues to pool cues and I feel like I play better with them too.

Thank you :smile:
Sure, snooker cues are specialized for snooker. I am honest to you, I have no idea what the difference is, as I have never played snooker yet. But I think playing skills are more important than cues. The best cue is useless without a feeling for playing.
In my experience (of which is just playing in the pub) the type isn't important, it's all about the weight of the cue itself. Check out this video;

I'd agree with this, mostly. My recommendation would be to try a few out and see what you think. Personally I prefer slightly heavier cues with softer tips, but some people like really light cues with very hard tips. Again, I play pool (badly) rather than snooker. I'd like to have a go at snooker some time as I really enjoy watching it but pubs generally don't have snooker tables as they're so big! :tongue:
