hey I'm counted in that range too thats worst case though i was really though on section b even though i hope i got more than what I've estimated. Did you look at unit 4 too?

That's good I don't know what to make of unit 4 I ran out of time on section b I had to prioritise questions I didn't answer the 10 mark
So it's either gone well or I've done badly and got like 55-60 but with my very strong AS I should hopefully be okay

But got 42 in section a and 30 in section b at least

42 is good whats the break down on the marks?
I'm saying around 25 for me on section b as i missed the 10 marker completely

For sb my 5, 8 marker, 15 and atleast 5 markes from the 12 marker . Atleast 30

Hey as I said before I'm marking harsh. For A) 15ish/20 and 21-22/30 my offer is AAB at Nottingham for computer science
I got an 181 ums last year in econ so hopefully be okay this year

Het you know if i get an A(scrape) in unit 4 and is about 55/58 high b in unit 3 i wont get an A over all would i.bear in mind unit 4 is 60% and unit 3 is 40%

it goes on ums last year unit 4 A was 71 marks which got 96ms
55-58 maks on unit 3 will get you around 62ums
bare in mind you need 160 ups to get an A
96+62 = 158ums

but your alveoli is AS+A2 combined so you need 320ums for an A
if you get 158ums in A2 but you got 170ums (what i got)
then that equals 328ums which is an A
so you'd probably miss out on an A at A2 but your AS grade can help you get an A overall.
Also thats just or last year grade boundaries ware likely to be different this year so raw marls will shift relative to the ums

Yes edexcel do change boundaries
UMS boundaries remain constant
but raw mark boundaries vary depending on how students perform to represent the difficulty of the paper each year

as you can see they vary slightly depending on each year
i believe they will remain similar they will never shift dramatically unless the paper was the very very easy.

Basically looks like the boundaries are about 1 mark higher than they have been the last few years
