Digital Media at Brighton University?

It's a tough one. Basically, I've got conditional offers to courses all relating to Digital Media at Brighton, Kent, Surrey and Brunel. I am really leaning towards Brighton mainly because of the city, but what concerns me is its relatively low place in the league tables.

I've heard that Brighton is sort of a center of digital media in the UK, though I am not sure if it's really true and I would be grateful if anyone studying there could comment on that.

Also, do the low university rankings matter very much, or are they really a poor representative of the quality of an individual course?

It would be great to hear some opinions from the brightoneers themselves as well as anybody who has gone through a similar situation! :s-smilie:
