St Andrews Applicants 2016

Hi Everyone!!

Just saw that this forum hadn't yet been created and figured everyone could use a place to talk with fellow applicants.

I personally am applying for their Modern History stream, but how about you guys?

( You can include as much or as little information as you like - I won't care! )

Or if you guys just want to chat, I'm here.

Enjoy, and good luck with your applications!!

I was wondering what the chances were of getting into St Andrews with a foundation year, it seems legitimate. Also, if I do so, how difficult would it be? Would anybody happen to know?
If I did apply I would apply for business management.
Thank you kindly!

At Warwick I'm looking at Economics, Politics and International Studies and Economics and Politics at Manchester and Bristol. Do you have any idea how many places they have for this course at StAndrews? I don't know if its a big course (like 50-80 people) or a small one (like 10-20). I'm also worried about the location. I live in Dorset so it would be quite the trek.....

No idea tbh. As for the location, I adored it! It's not really my type city (if one could call it that) but it had a great and sort of friendly atmosphere

Any idea what career field you're looking to go into?

Wow, that's a lot to put just in one personal statement! Best of luck.

Ideally, I would love to pursue an academic career. Otherwise, IB, international organization or even journalism all appeal to me. What about you?
