Oxford Brookes - What's it like in a city with students from Oxford Uni?

I am looking and unis and was looking at Oxford Brooke's, looks likes a great uni but I was worried about some Oxford uni students thinking there're superior as they're at one of the best unis in the world

Hi I go to Oxford Brookes and I can relate with your concern as I thought the same thing when I applied last year. Although it's quite early to make a conclusion, from what I've seen Oxford uni students and Oxford Brookes students don't really socialise much, I don't know why this is the case maybe it's the difference in academia maybe it's not but from the few Oxford uni students I've spoken to I didn't get a sense of snobbery or elitist behaviour

My best friend goes to Brookes. You really won't interact with the Oxford people at all, they very much segregate themselves and probably do think they're superior but they just aren't in the same place to rub it in your face
