which self-catered halls are the best for social/ensuite for a 1st year? cheers

I'm not sure really...the best ensuites from what I've seen are in Durdham, which isn't know for it's social aspect. Halls like Hiatt Baker are more social but their ensuite is a wet room, rather than a proper shower. Honestly I think you need to just go look at them yourself, I don't know much about the ensuite rooms in halls outside of Stoke Bishop.
