AQA English Language GCSE help

Hi, I'm doing AQA for English Language, and whilst I generally do well on the papers, I am never sure how to answer questions 1,2,3 and 4. I'm really not sure about my teacher's approach- writing 8 points to get eight marks. It's particularly confusing when different teachers say completely different things- one other says to make 3 points. if anyone has taken their GCSE in the past and achieved an A*, feel free to share advice- I just wanna know what works for the exam board,
