What do you think of Team GB's chances in Rio? Presently 11th in the medal table, only one gold medal, and the team with the most amount of fourth places to date ... slump or explosion to come?

The reason we're behind at the moment is because the rowing and cycling haven't done medals yet. Or boxing. Or athletics. Should be at least another 10 golds.

That is uncanny. I was googling medal predictions and one site mentioned that one computer predictor had Team GB drop a lot of medals and get a ton of 4th places...

We're actually doing better than in London at the same time in the competition and countries have never performed as well as they did at home so if we keep this up it will be very impressive.

Probably third overall given at the time of posting our good events were yet to co!e, but with cycling, rowing, athletics and most of the equestrian over the weekend out medal count should surge, especially golds. Remember that last time we did poorly until the second Saturday when we got 7 golds. Unlikely to be as many this time because it's not at home, but it's the middle days where we get most of our medals.
