English GCSE Controlled Assessment help - Investigate Speech

I'm hoping someone can offer some help and maybe post an example for me to take a look at. We were given our topic for CA3 which is: "Investigate speech that is particular to a workplace. Explore public attitudes towards some aspects of the language used". I'm struggling to visualise what an example response to this would look like, I think it's because I don't really understand what they're asking for and how to structure a response.

The first part "investigate speech that is particular to a workplace", would that be looking at specific words, terminology, phrases, formality, tone?

The second part "explore public attitudes towards some aspects of the language used", I don't understand the question!
