How to revise my notes....am i doing it right?

Hello all, I am a final year uni student doing biological science. I am also on
holidays which will resume on 20th January.

The problem is that I am really struggling to study. What I am doing is that I read some chapters in my textbook and then copy the chapters to my copybook which
takes lots of time.

I have been doing this since 1 week (start of holidays) and I am not having the time to revise the notes that I copied in my copybook because I have other remaining chapters (about 10 chapters remaining) to copy also which is very time consuming.
By the way I have only copied 1 chapter which consists of 25 pages.

Just copying everything isn't really an effective way to revise. You should go through the topics, starting with the ones you are least confident with, and write it out in your own words, use diagrams, pictures, make it fun. Rewrite the content that you don't understand properly in various different ways to help get it into your head.
