First things first, draw a (big) diagram

Then, try considering the forces acting on the particle (a second free body force diagram may be helpful here).

After drawing a force diagram you can note that it is in equilibrium.

Using this I woud suggest resolving forces on the particle verticaly; post your working if you get stuck.
