BSC or Bsc(hons) for masters abroad?

In the end of this university year i can get the BSC degree or do another year for the hons (In scotland). My question are:
What is the difference between them?
Is it worth doing another year only for Hons?
Can i apply for a master degree with Bsc or do i need honhs in uk?
Cand i apply for a master degree outside the UK (for example Romania) with Bsc or do i need hons?

Cheers

My impression is that usually most students stay on to complete the Hons year, because the first year of Scottish universities is at a slightly lower level (hence why some students can skip it and go straight into second year, thus getting BSc+Hons in just three years). Depending on your uni, this year could give you the opportunity to learn particular specialist courses in more depth, do a dissertation or research project, etc.

Masters degree requirements vary between different universities - I'd recommend having a look on each university's website and checking their admissions requirements, don't be afraid to give them a call to clarify if necessary. Bear in mind that this late in the year some universities may no longer be accepting applications anyway so you may have to do the fourth year and apply in the next application round
