Games development

Has anyone that has applied for a games development course this year had their application for student tuition and maintenance loans accepted?
It's not based on course, more on when you applied for the loan and if you've submitted all the right evidence

I thought so, it's just that SFE told my brother they don't fund the course.
The Student Loans Company will fund any degree-level course offered by a higher education institution in the UK.

We run BA(Hons) Game Development and BSc(Hons) Computing for Games at Falmouth University, and the majority of our UK students are funded through loans offered through the Student Loans Company.

Is it a degree-level course? Where is the course offered?

There are also eligibility conditions for applicants that are considered, such as whether they have received funding for previous periods of study already.

All the best,
Michael

I see no reason why either of their BSc games courses wouldn't be eligible. They are both degree-level qualifications and are recruiting through UCAS. It would be worth reaching out to [email protected] to investigate further.
