AQA MPC4 June 14 Question 4 help please!

The question is about growth and decay, but there are no exponentials in it so why is the markscheme using natural logs and not normal logs?

You're likely to get a better response, if you can link to the paper and markscheme.

You can use any base you want, but ee is the most common one and that's what mathematicians always use unless stated otherwise.
As RDKGames said. But note that question (c)i requires the use of natural logs.
They could have said a "Show that..." with logs base 10, but chose base e instead.
