What do you expect after increasing terrorist attacks across Europe in the past year or so? Especially with 8-year old children being blown up at a pop concert in the name of Islam.. it's hardly a surprising result.

You would think Europe would have more brains and not let the actions of a few affect the majority but unfortunately Europe and Britain are becoming more ignorant in 2017. Why doesn't Europe protest against their governments who are responsible for the wars in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan in turn creating terrorist groups and causing havoc across Europe. These are the very people who voted for these governments to come into power and yet they are voting to ban muslims when they voted for war and destruction in the middle east. Wake and take a reality check, stop blaming the religion for your troubles and look your government who out there killing hundreds of innocent people. People just turn a blind eye to whats going on the ground but instead look to the bias media who are out to brainwash people.

It's largely because of how the media work. The news will tell you about single events, but almost never tell anything about the stats.
Want to hear something shocking- you can rely on the news. Want to find some stats to know the actual scale of something? You have to search through the internet or go to library.

So you are basically justifying the blowing up of young children and teenagers in the UK (who have nothing to do with the conflicts in the middle east). Nice one.

They only surveyed 10 countries.

Also the total number of respondents to the survey was around 10,000, or about 1k per country. You could argue it might be a reasonably representative sample size for one country, but not for surveying all europe.

Actually, this is pretty dumb, right? Even if you hate Muslims so much, why not just ban Muslims trying to immigrate? Why the entire population from Muslim-predominant countries? Imagine if a Christian pastor from a Muslim country wanted to migrate but couldn't because of this ban. That's like saying, hey, you got all A*'s at A-Level, but you go to this lousy school where most score C's so tough luck getting into Oxbridge! But let's say a Muslim wanted to migrate from America. They would be a-ok because Murica?

Terrorist attacks can never be justified

But you do have to take into consideration the role America and the UK played with foreign policy, destroying 7 middle eastern countries is inevitably going to lead to terrorist groups being formed to take control of unstable countries due to the power imbalances it creates... They got rid of Sadam who was practically the only thing that was stopping ISIS from being formed... it's like going to the coral reef and removing the sharks that eat the fish that eat the coral... remove the sharks and you'll just get a ton of fish killing the coral.

but other than that I do believe their should be atleast a temporary ban for a few years for middle eastern countries until an effective solution is found to counter terrorism

Let me ask you, why is it ignorance or why is it even astonishing people dont want to house an ideology which states:

- Fight in the name of Allah (2:244/2:216/4:74/4:76)
- An ideology which is extremely against non believers and believes they should be punished in this life and the afterlife (3:56/3:151/4.95/8.12/8.15/9.14)
- Rejects homosexuality and states they should be punished via stoning (4.16/7.80-7.84/Abu Dawud 4448)
- Believes adultury is punishable by stoning (Sahih Bukhari 6:60/79)
- Women are worth less than a man (4:11/2:228), men are permitted to have sex slaves outside marriage (4:24/33:50) and we cant forget old fashioned wife beating can we? (4:34/38:44/Sahih Bukhari 72:715/4:2127/9:3506)

Obviously the list goes on and theres so many issues I could list with Islam, this is literally a small fraction of things wrong with Islam.

Before you claim its down to 'misinterpretation', ask yourself the question. Is it really 'astonishing' people rather not bring an ideology such as Islam to their doorstep.

If anything the ignorance stems from you, quick to pull the ignorance card yet discuss real issues within islam such as the ones above just to name a small few.
