Sociology Names

Just wondering, anyone out here who did well in sociology at A-level, how many names and statistics did you include in your answer? I'm being overloaded with names and I don't know whether I should be memorising them all or whether more marks are awarded for detail.

You dont need to remember every name, mentioning 5-10 names is probably ideal though. However I think the general structure and points of your answers are more important though.
