@Superherogamer I have a 1st BA Hons Sociology degree, a big help with sociology is to learn the key perspectives which are functionalism, marxism, feminism, and interactionism as you revisit them time and time again looking at different subjects like the family, crime, religion etc. This carries on throughout University student. Also research methods is really useful to dive into.
