Ums a level

In reality do many people get 100ums in chemistry/biology a level?
I've seen it happen. Not likely though.

In England Biology and Chemistry A levels are linear so don't have UMS any more. When they did the maximum mark was 600 UMS so 100 was a fail..

The UMS per unit varies from 60-150 UMS too!

We normally used to get the odd person with full UMS in a Biology or Chemistry exam - of course that probably wasn't anywhere near full marks - for an A* in OCR Biology last year you needed 178/270 raw marks , nowhere near the 90% of UMS required, so, had this been a qualification with UMS, you'd have achieved it with a lot less than 270 raw marks.
