Economics at LSE

Realistically, what chance do I have of getting into LSE Bsc (econ) with A*AA (Maths, Econ, Spanish) and A in English Lang AS?

A chance
Same chance as a lot of other decent applicants.

Do you read any academic books?

A chance

Would you recommend I choose further maths for a level too, knowing that I may end up getting a B in it? I would then have A*AAB (Maths, Eco , Spanish, FM)

I've only read one, but I'm in year 11, so I can do that all in 6th Form.

On their website, it stipulates that only an A* in Maths is required, but I feel like you're right, because of the competitive nature of the course.

Do that to get ahead and be sure to analyse some of the books you read in your person statement so you sound intelligent.
As a current student most people have some form of FM and it would really help you if you got accepted as the first year is basically a maths degree.

If you do AS FM you will be asked to get an A in it - you should be aware of this.

If you really want to go into LSE there are lots of really good other courses like management or economics and economic history.
