I was about to sleep and was like: let me check my email one last time. And then the LSE CHOICE email popped up saying I got accepted! I also got it 5:11pm but my phone's email app didn't load/show it till now.

Launch is on 9th August for me. Is it the same for the rest of you as well?

I hope to see some of you there at the LSE during the summer.

I just found out I got in for Economics!!

Hella surprised bcos my grades aren't all that. I think my PS is what saved me.

The deadline, I believe, is the 9th of march.
Please also mention your subjects and the predicted grades you will be putting in.

I am applying for the government and politics stream.
I study Maths, Economics and Politics.
I will get my exact predictions for this programme when I get back to school, they should be around A*AA at this time of the year.

Hiya,

My GCSEs were (9-1): 8,7,7 and (Old GCSEs): A*AAAAB (so in total: 2A* 6A 1B)
A level Predicted: AAA (Maths, Politics, Economics)

Well done for getting into Econ. And its a shame about ur friend not getting in.
Can I also ask what your gcses/a level predictions were?

Wow, your grades are great!

In that case, I think the LSE puts a lot of emphasis on filling the contextual criteria and then, secondly, the grades and lastly the PS (even tho I think a strong PS is VITAL if u don't over qualify for the other two requisites)

Do you know why your friend was declined for Econ?
