    C6H6 + energry -> C6H6
    NaCl + energy -> Na+Cl
    CH4 + 2O2 -> CO2 + 2H2O + energy

    Assuming you mean:
    1. C6H6(l) + energy → C6H6(g), you can say that the reaction affected intermolecular forces because the single molecules don't change. The broken bonds were between molecules of benzene.
    2. NaCl(l) + energy → Na+(aq) + Cl-(aq) Sodium chloride is technically not a molecule, but you can see that the strong ionic bonds intra-NaCl are broken.
    3. This is a combustion reaction, in which the products are totally different. Both the inter- and intra- molecular bonds are affected.
