Does De monfort university have a good computer sc department?
IIRC, a student from De Monfort was on here recently and was saying they found the first year "too easy". By reading the course structure, it doesn't seem like the most challenging CS course out there. It seems to focus on web/mobile application development. On the plus side, it does have a placement team who can get you a placement, which will help immensely if you want to get a job after uni.
So it wouldn't be the best CS course, but it might be good enough to teach you some rudimentary elements of CS and if you get a good placement you'll get a job without too much trouble.
