Why do people on love island dress immodestly?

Like why are they wearing such provocative outfits and showing skin? WE are increasingly moving towards an egalitarian society where people are no longer objectified and treated as a piece of meat, so why is this show dressing up their women like they are eye candy? They are people and it would be better if they wore normal clothes instead of provocative clothes that barely cover anything

So is that how people in the Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia, North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa dress as well? Nope. The weather doesn’t necessitate that type of clothing. It’s clear that the show is dressing them like that to get views
