LJMU 'have' halls which are privately owned by companies which we have a partnership with and highly recommend. For example, Grand Central which is owned by Unite Students. Because of this partnership LJMU students usually get a discount at these halls of residence compared to if you went to Unite Students directly.
At these recommended halls you will find far more LJMU students so you may find you have more in common with them but students from other uni's are just as lovely. All halls LJMU recommend are of a very high standard, but you will have to keep your budget in mind. I personally lived at Grand Central first year and loved it! But after that I decided to move to somewhere more affordable.
