Biomedical science vs Biochemistry

what's the difference between the two and how much chemistry and maths is there in biomed?
Hi there!Biochemistry includes metabolical pathways in the body and has to do a lot with enzymes and the reactivity between cells in the body. Biomedical science is more broad and includes Genetics, microbiology, and basically the focus here is that things taught are of more molecular depth. In Newcastle University, in Biomedical Science, biochemistry is only taught for semester 1 in Year 1, and maths are used throught the course. Statistics will be needed in the research project in year 3. Hope this helps.
