Any revision tips for A Level History AQA??

Hi,

i've got my mocks coming up very soon, and i am struggling to find an effective revison method to revise for my history topics, Crusades and modern Britain.

I have the exam technique for the question, just the 'specific detail' in answering the question which lets me down.

Exam practice and then you can look at mark schemes to show where you lack the detail.

This is a very back to front method.

You really need a decent set of notes with all the facts and reasons.
You can another buy a revision book or I would just use mind maps and timelines to distil the information down to the ideas, order of events and influences on each other.

More detail could be more facts, more reasons and a deeper understanding.
