Yeah, I’m a slim guy, and my thighs are quite a lot thicker than my lower legs for some reason. But I used to be slightly overweight and always thought my legs looked a bit fat lol.

Yeah, I get that my legs could do with some more muscle, I do have an exercise bike and I have read that there are some exercises you can do to improve leg muscle.

why are so self conscious as to film yourself though - noone would think twice/care too much, just a casual look, if they do, bit judgemental... its cool lol :smile:

change it to t-shirt cos it's training shorts
or change the top to zipper hoodie and add more dimension and colour into it, not monochromatic

I do have some plain grey shorts if that would look better. I have seen quite a few lads wearing a black hoodie with grey shorts and a grey hoodie with black shorts.

Yeah, I’ve got into the habit of dressing in neutral colours like black and grey, in fact, as I’m typing this now, I’m wearing some black nike joggers with a grey Nike zip-up hoodie.

I get that it looks a bit boring and basic.

What about a grey Adidas originals hoodie to match the shorts?

I think it’s just that I’ve always been a bit self-conscious when wearing shorts for some reason. It seems to be mainly confident/sporty lads that wear them mostly, whereas I am more of an indoorsy shy quiet computer academic type guy.

And also the fact that I haven’t worn them much except indoors or in warm weather (like last weekend for example), my classmates/tutors in college aren’t used to seeing me in shorts and my mum doesn’t even like me wearing shorts to college because she doesn’t think they are “professional attire”. Yet I’ll set off in a hoodie and some trackies and she’ll say “you look smart” and I’m thinking “it’s just a random hoodie and joggers for God’s sake, I just put them on cos I felt like crap and don’t know what else to wear”.

Another thing I don’t like is when I get the feeling that people are looking/staring at me in public. They’re probably not and it’s probably just my imagination, but I notice that when I wear certain garments of clothing people look more (for example, when I wear my Superdry hoodie I notice people seem to look more as opposed to if I just wear a plain black one).

I’m always left wondering is it because they think it looks good or is it because they think it looks bad lol.

But I’ve always liked the feeling of wearing shorts, as long as it feels warm enough and esspecially when the sun is shining, love the feeling of the sun on my legs. 🌞🙂
