I absolutely love bake off even when it moved to Channel 4. I cannot wait for it to start. Plus we do have Christmas Bake Off coming in 4 months.

It's not the same without Mary Berry but I'll still definitely be watching! Wonder who the contestants will be this year - no doubt there will be a super young one and at least one retired one - there always seems to be!

I would say Alice given she has spent time in New Zealand and she'll be able to infuse some different flavours or bring some ideas across but then quite a few others have spent a considerable time in other countries :beard:

My long shot guess from the start will be Michelle and then she'll have some Welsh baking shows/books after :laugh:

I am notoriously bad at predictions, but I like the look and description of Alice (I think, I may have forgotten her name already - the geography teacher who used to live in NZ). She looks friendly and like-able :biggrin:

Do you think that will affect the show? I personally loved seeing some of the techniques older contestants used as they had been doing them for decades and were so skilled :smile:
