Iranian woman jailed and dies over football game

In short: a woman tried to sneak into a football match dressed as a man. She was arrested and given a six month jail sentence. In response, she set herself on fire and died.

Let’s hope this barbaric Islamic theocracy becomes a civilised country one day.

Is not islamic theocracy, is crazy leaders using their religion to set their own culture and traditions.

Is mad how man centric they r,
But that’s nothing to do w the religion in its self
Thousands and thousands of Muslims out there and nobody behave like that

Taken two weeks to drop off the bottom of the page without any comments from feminists.
If it had been a Christian community they would have been queing up to condemn them complete with predictions of this shows The Handmaid's Tale got it right.

Id hazard a guess that the reason this story didn’t get much traction was because it happended in Iran, we expect this sort of barbarism from Iran so we are not really surprised. Moreover, being a U.K. forum we care more about U.K. and Western based things or British people.
