PGCE introdcution letter to placement school
Hi there,
I'm doing a primary PGCE, and have just been told the school for my first placement. We've been told to write a letter to the head of the school introducing ourselves, but haven't really been told what to put. Any advice of what I should put or examples people have sent would be really helpful.

I did secondary, but my letter of introduction included the following:
-My background before teaching, focusing especially on relevant experience.
-Why I wanted to go into teaching.
-Stuff I was especially keen to get experience of on placement.
It only needs to be about one side of A4, so by the time you have included addresses etc, that easily fills the space. Think of it a bit like a personal statement/cover letter if that helps.
