From what I understand, you would need to sit M8 rather than M7 if you wanted an A or above. The highest grade in M7 is a B, and you would need this (and depending on how high the C* was, potentially a high B) in M7 in the summer to get a B overall. M7 is weighted 55% to M4's 45% though which works in your favour given you want a higher grade than you attained in your M4 exam Hope that helps!
