HARD A LEVEL CHEM QUEStion

Give an equation for the preparation of 1,6-diaminohexane by the reaction of 1,6-dibromohexane with an excess of ammonia.

I know u start with c6H12br2 + 2nh3 ->
But idk how to get the product
I wouldn't use molecular formulas (so I've used structural formula) for this but heres a general equation

R-X + 2NH3 -> R-NH2 +NH4X

so in this case it would be :

CH2BrCH2CH2CH2CH2CH2Br + 4NH3 -> CH2NH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2NH2 + 2NH4Br
