is it too late?

i am in yr 9 and want to pick arabic but the school doesnt have proper teachers for it (just supplies), only the arabic speakers get attention , and ive no basic knowledge of the language .
is it too risky for a fresh start and should i just not pick it or should i as i find it very interesting
btw im in yr 9

I'm not sure why you would want to pick a subject which doesn't have proper teachers. Pick one in which you will get the most help and that you enjoy to maximise your chances of getting a good grade.
