Primary Teacher

Do I need a GCSE science to be able to study a Primary in Education with QTS degree at University or is my BTEC science at level DISTINCTION okay? Thank you for your time.

if you google the university you’d most likely be wanting to go to and find the course, it should tell you all of the entry requirements whether they are btec gcse a level etc.

as @jd1202 said, the university course will state the requirements you need to get on the course. You need a GCSE science to become a primary teacher. If your BTEC is not listed as a possible equivalency, do not be put off- do contact the university admission office and they will be able to tell you if they accept it as an equivalent or not. Sometimes, the list of equivalency qualifications, they accept, is so long and comprehensive, that they cannot list them all.
