Data science/informatics for medics

Hi,

Background: I'm recent medical school graduate with no background in coding, tech, stats or data science

I've realised that this field (data/informatics) is becoming a very useful field for people in the medical field.

1) Does anyone have any recommendations about how I can start to learn this (from scratch)? I've some courses on coursera but I'm keen to find the one that is easiest to understand/follow from absolute scratch.

2) What is the difference between data science vs coding vs analytics vs machine learning

3) Would you recommend that this is worth investing my time in (I have some weeks before I start working - so I'm considering research work or picking up these skills)

Your help will really be appreciated! Thank you

Also, if I have no background in maths/stats (didn't ever need to know it in med school) - would you say i need to learn this first - does anyone have any experience in this?
