I loved the Jacqueline Wilson books :gah:

Used to have my collection rainbow ordered :lol:

She included a lot of people and perspectives who usually don't get a voice in books :yes:

and by doing so had some very thought provoking and unique story lines

It does and I remember reading the book when I was much younger and thinking that she basically made it happen because he had said no at first.
But that was probabaly because I was quite young and wasn't really a fan of Prue because I thought she was a right cow. It's only reading it again now I'm much older than I realise she was retty vulnerable and he took an interest in her from day 1. I felt really bad for her.
Its only a story I know but I get invested emotionally goddamn it 😂
