Whats your favourite books of the 80's?

As the title says, Whats your favourite books of the 80's?
how to survive summer camp by jacqueline wilson
The root cellar by Janet Lunn. I also like some books by Roald Dahl like Matilda and The Witches.

I have read The story of Tracy Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson which was really good. Do you like Jacqueline Wilson's other books as well?
Das Parfüm (The Perfume) by Patrick Süskind

I especially like the writing of the intensive smells in detail and the tragic-comical happenings in the novel the most.
