Teaching and Learning at Newman University

As Newman University is a central campus with all facilities and accommodation on one site, it makes this university a smaller establishment. However, this closeness creates a community and this community feeds into the teaching and learning styles offered :smile:

Newman has smaller class sizes and aims to have lectures and seminars in teaching spaces that encourage group work. Newman has only 2 large lecture spaces used mainly for large events or when a subject needs it. But, the second of the two is a recently built lecture theatre that has tables with seats surrounding the table. In this way, this structure promotes conversation, group work and conversation :smile:

Newman prides itself on putting the student first and allowing you to reach your potential. From 4 years of being a student at Newman I feel lecturers and staff listen, guide and support you to find your path :smile:
