Hairline suddenly frizzy/wiry why??

Overnight my hair at my hairline became wiry and frizzy, like I accidentally burnt it. i haven’t been looking after myself for the past month so it could be bc of that but why and how???
If you have long hair, you might be tying your hair too tight. This makes the hair at the hairline break because it’s anchoring the entire ponytail. When the hair is stretched to the point of breaking, it becomes wiry and curly. Maybe start braiding your hair (especially when you sleep) and think about cutting it to reduce the weight, it’s also a low maintenance option. It could also be heat damage or dry hair.
If it’s standing up when you tie your hair now, put a little bit of coconut oil on a tooth brush and smooth down the hair (use realllly little so that it doesn’t look greasy). I use this trick quite often because my hair breaks really easily, especially at the hairline. Takes one to know one, I guess 😅
Good luck!
This could be due to weather change or washing hair in extremely hot water.
